Shiwa N’gandu -The Africa House

Deep in the remote heart of northern Zambian lies Shiwa Ng’andu, a majestic home built in the wilderness by a remarkable man over 80 years ago.

This quintessential English Manor House was build in 1932 in the middle of the African bush by Stewart Gore-Brown of ‘The Africa House’ fame.

Built by the side of a beautiful lake this totally unexpected spot is truly beautiful and full of History about an extraordinary man who is still today the only ‘White’ Zambian to have received the honour of a state funeral.

You also have the opportunity of horse back safaris here and the scenery is spectacular.
