The David Livingtone Safari Lodge and Spa

The award winning 5* David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa ideally mixes luxury and comfort on the banks of the Zambezi River, a stunning setting in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park with fantastic views of the spray from Victoria Falls. The Lodge has all modern comforts that a guest would need as well as many unique features to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Accommodation
The Lodge has 77 rooms, all en-suite, of which 5 are executive suites, 4 rooms inter-lead and are ideal for families and 2 rooms accommodate the disabled comfortably. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities such as plasma satellite TV, safe, mini bar, tea & coffee facilities, air conditioning and all bathrooms have separate bath and shower. The rooms look out over the Mighty Zambezi and a leisurely sun downer can be enjoyed from your private balcony.

Spa
The spa at the hotel has also won awards in its own right and is one of the best spas in all of Southern Africa. Offering a wide variety of therapeutic and beauty therapies and treatments, ranging from intensive sports therapies to mud wraps, facials and manicures.

Gym
There is a gym for the guests use based at The Spa

Restaurants

The lodge is known for its fantastic cuisine and offers a few different eating options such as The pool deck, Gwembe Terrace and The Kalai Restaurant offering 5* quality dishes and fantastic. Drinks and signature cocktails are enjoyed at the Ujiji Bar.

The Lady Livingstone
Based at the hotel is the luxurious river cruises called The Lady Livingstone, the perfect way to enjoy a sunset drink on the river. Cruises depart daily from the hotel and include delicious snacks and drinks as well as the opportunity to see a stunning African sunset from the river and the chance to see some wildlife such as hippos, crocs, elephants and many more.

The Victoria Falls Conference Centre

Also based at the hotel is the best conference facility available in Livingstone which was opened in August 2014. Perfect for any group function whether it be a conference, teambuilding events, banquets or weddings.

Thorntree River Lodge

SafPar’s small and secluded deluxe lodge within Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park 15 km upstream from Victoria Falls caters for a maximum of 18 guests.

Thorntree Lodge is almost always visited by guests on our safari circuits and in itself offers ideal opportunities for excursions into Mosi-O-Tunya National Park where white rhino, giraffe, impala, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and a wide variety of birds are commonly spotted.

Thorntree is also conveniently located for touring Victoria Falls and Livingstone plus participation in any of the adventure options available. The lodge is family friendly and caters for all ages.

Situated on the Zambian bank of the Zambezi River, within the renowned Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and just 15 kilometres upstream from the spectacular Victoria Falls. With 7 standard rooms and 2 suites, Thorntree River Lodge offers its guests a unique and personal African experience all year round. Each accommodation unit has its own en-suite facilities and all are beautifully appointed.

The Victoria falls Waterfront

SafPar’s convenient and affordable complex opposite Siloka Island just 4 km upstream from Victoria Falls. The Waterfront is the ideal base from which to explore Victoria Falls and participate in the many activities on offer. The Zambezi Waterfront offers a full range of accommodation options in cool and shady surroundings on the riverbank and includes:

A well serviced campsite downstream of the central complex.

Accommodation for up to 90 guests – ideal for backpackers, over lander’s and self-drive visitors.

A tented “Adventure Village” with accommodation for up to 30 guests in a large and spacious cluster of individual Bow Tents on raised platforms

Upstream is a group of fully serviced en-suite chalets including 3 Executive rooms, 4 Family rooms and 14 Standard Rooms.

The Waterfront has a central dining complex with open views up and down river – the spray from Victoria Falls is in constant view. A raised wooden deck stretches out over the river with a unique plunge pool. An open bar and restaurant area, reception, travel centre, merchandising shop and internet café completes the complex.

The Zambezi Waterfront is family-friendly and caters for all ages.
