Nchila is home to some of Africa’s most beautiful animals and birds in a nature reserve of stunning natural beauty, situated in the remote North West corner of Zambia, where antelope and game originally indigenous to the area have been carefully reintroduced, and are managed with conservation foremost in mind.
The older generation of locals have been thrilled to see their return.
Nchila is privately owned and is part of Hillwood Farm situated in the remote North West Province of Zambia near the source of the Zambezi with over 10 000 acres of virgin African bush, fenced with local materials using local labour.
ACCOMODATION AT NCHILA
Our camp is a small one – we prefer to keep it that way and ensure high quality. We can accommodate 6, 8 maximum if needed.
The accommodation is very comfortable and no one has complained about the catering yet. Our camp is composed of chalets, all built with local stone and thatch, surrounded by lawns. There are 3 chalets. One is a double with en suite (shower and bath).
The second has two rooms that can accommodate either 2 singles or a double, each (we use king size beds for doubles) and shares a bathroom (bath and shower).
There is a small pool and small Jacuzzi for those who are interested. The central dining room/lounge area is also thatched but open.
The camp is situated on the edge of miombo woodland and forest and overlooks a large dambo/plain. Spouses are more than welcome, we prefer to have no more than 2 hunters at a time, one being the best of course, but will accommodate 3 if absolutely necessary to the trip.
For the sake of quality hunting, attention to detail and safety, this is very much our preference. Each hunter will have a PH, unless hunters are willing to share Pete’s time.
This is the only situation where a deal on daily rates may be considered.
Hunting with Nchila includes both hunting on our private properties and also in Game Management Areas. We would very much appreciate knowing before the hunt if the client has any allergies or has food and drink preferences i.e. Sugar diabetes, vegetarian, alcoholic preferences, diet drinks, etc.
