An area of unsurpassed beauty”
… David Livingstone
More than 100 years later, that description of Lake Tanganyika still holds true.
The endless shoreline of Nsumbu National Park offers a haven to wildlife, while the crystal clear blue waters teem with an unparalleled diversity of fish life. In the heart of the Rift valley, the opportunities for discovery and adventure, beauty and relaxation are as endless as African time itself.
Nestled amongst lush tropical vegetation opening onto its own exclusive beach, Ndole Bay Lodge offers visitors a singular African experience on the shores of a unique lake.
Ndole Bay Lodge is built entirely from natural materials with thatched roofs and breezy designs making comfort come naturally. All rooms are discreetly situated within the riparian vegetation.
A massive central thatched area serves as a dining and bar area. There is a fully stocked bar at Ndole with competitive prices. A range of local beers as well as wine, spirits and our signature Ndole cocktail make good times at the wooden bar unforgettable.
Comfortable couches, dart board and other games make festivities a must before retiring to the beach for a moonlit nightcap. A large swimming pool near the bar area allows cool dips between serious relaxation.
