Muchichili Safari House

We like to think of Muchichili Safari House as a family home away from home.
The views from the house and the grounds are spectacular for both sunrise and
sunset, and with no other building in sight in any direction, the House offers
guests a private, luxurious oasis in the African bush.  The two-storey house has
5 bedrooms (3 en-suite) and ample entertainment areas both indoor and outdoor.
We have a full-time team to tend to your every need and to maintain the property
to the highest standards, ensuring all guests have the experience they deserve.

Woods Camp

Woods Camp gives you the opportunity to really get close to nature and enjoy the pristine natural beauty of the Lower Zambezi with its spectacular views in all directions.  At Woods Camp, you can pitch your tent on the banks of the Zambezi River, and although the campsite retains its rustic theme, we also offer the convenience and comfort of separate male and female shower and ablution blocks, and a large thatched Insaka with a bar and plentiful covered seating.  Each stand has a fire pit and we have BBQs for hire, firewood, and charcoal for sale. We have a boat launch facility, plus offer a range of safari and river cruise activities: our safari trips to the Lower Zambezi National Park combine a one-hour river safari (with abundant hippo, elephant, and crocodile sightings) to/ from the Park from where we move to our 4×4 overland adventure; we have excellent Tiger fishing all along the river in front of the House; our sunset cruises provide opportunities to see hundreds of stunning carmine bee-eaters who return in the afternoon to nest in the riverbank opposite the house.
