We wish to encourage awareness of Conservation and Community projects with our clients as well as their involvement.
We want to ensure that the benefits of tourism are returned to the local conservation and community projects that our clients have the privilege to visit. Profits from Zambia Safari.com are directly returned to the Operators’ own small conservation and community projects. All the ground operators that we use have their own charitable programs such as building and supporting village schools, anti poaching assistance, community health care, village water supply, conservation education projects, tree planting programs, etc.
These are often reliant on donations and are imperative to the success of the local wildlife and community welfare. Our intention is to promote Africa in a positive and informative manner, to encourage client involvement and local self reliance through the promotion of local employment, improving education availability and the development of traditional skills and crafts.This should ensure a sustainable future for the local people, all of which is dependant on the preservation of the local wildlife and environment.

David and Deborah are also the founding directors of the Blue Lagoon Trust, a UK and Zambian registered charitable trust providing conservation and community projects in and around the Blue Lagoon National Park.
David is a registered Honorary Wildlife Police Officer with the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) and is actively involved with anti- poaching patrols, which remains a serious problem in Zambia, particularly for bush meat trade and Ivory.
