Your every need is met by a staff of 22. Each tent is atop a teak deck with patio, ensuring a stunning, completely private view of the Zambezi. Each guest suite has a full bathroom, and sleeps two in either single or luxury queen-size beds. The central area of the thatched lodge consists of a fully stocked bar, indoor dining room and curio shop. Most meals however are eaten “al fresco” around the huge campfire in the boma, or down on the beach. Breakfast and lunch are often served on the lower deck overlooking the river, in the shade of the riverine forest. Meals are substantial and home cooked – with freshly caught local fish and game being popular choices. Mutemwa Lodge offers a variety of activities such as fishing, birding, day trips to the Ngonye Falls, canoeing, sunset cruises, walks and cultural visits.
